Dresden was one of the gems during my Photo Trip around Central/East Europe 2014.

Despite the fact that this city was mostly burned to the ground during the WWII, now it’s one of the most beautiful cities I have visited. The architecture, the sculptures, the green and colorful parks, the nice open spaces and squares are ever so appealing.

From the very first moment this city reminded me a lot of Florence, Italy, when I found out that Dresden is actually nicknamed the Northern Florence :)
