Tre Cime di Lavaredo (also know as Drei Zinnen) are one of the most popular landmarks of the whole Dolomites. The iconic view of the three jagged-teeth-like peaks is attracting so many tourists and hikers.

The peaks are relatively easy to reach by car on a toll-paid road or by bus from Cortina d’Ampezzo and Misurina, or if you like hiking challenges, there are also some trails leading to the Tre Cime, one of which is the 3-hour hiking starting from Lago di Landro.

Once reaching the starting point of the parking at the Rifugio Auronzo, you can take the circular path around the peaks and enjoy the breathtaking views. The trail could take from 3 to 5 hours hiking, depending on your speed and the amount of breaks. It’s a very pleasant and relatively flat hike with almost no steep sections. But on every step you take along this path you will be greeted by amazing views of the sea of peaks, mountains, rock and in the summer with wild flowers.

Don’t miss this spectacular place if you ever happen to be in the area, you will remember the beauty of it till the rest of your life!
